Overview

Project Administrator

Job Purpose:

Working within a small business to operate/develop and manage the vibration, noise and dust projects running at any given time for Clients across the UK. The role is office based in Sittingbourne.

This job covers a wide field of roles in the vibration noise and dust sector, monitoring and coordinating the projects from demolition, piling and construction sites, liaising with clients and project managers to ensure the smooth running of the services we provide.

What You Will Need To Succeed

You will have experience in using various Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook and the ability to learn new packages as vibration, noise and dust have their own software.

What You Will Get In Return

Working Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, good salary and bonuses. Training will be given in vibration, noise and dust monitoring and the additional services we provide clients.

Project Administrator

Job Duties
  • Liaising with clients on a daily basis regarding the monitoring of vibration, noise and dust levels on their site.
  • Maintaining and recording activity on client sites for the purpose of generating weekly reports.
  • Dealing with vibration, noise and dust alerts that occur daily on various sites.
  • Setting up projects with the correct equipment and liaising with the Engineers in preparation for installing the equipment using various software packages.
  • Working with the Operations Manager on a daily basis to problem solve issues arising with equipment, booking Engineers in for visits to site and projects.
  • Raising the Risk Assessment and Method Statements for various jobs.
  • Checking and inputting data into weekly reports in preparation for sending them to clients on a weekly basis.
  • Taking calls for enquiries relating to VMS Services and allocating work for Engineers.
  • Liaise with Project Manager regarding the equipment being installed and any issues arising.
  • Liaise with Engineers regarding setting up equipment on sites.
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Director.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
  • Some knowledge of vibration, noise and dust monitoring will be an advantage but training will be provided.
  • Ability to learn and use software programs on computer and iPad.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self motivated, flexible and able to work on own initiative and under pressure.
  • Capability to deal with continuous changes within the business and new technology.
