We're recruiting an experienced technician to join a successful independent premium garage in Sittingbourne, Kent
.

- £60,000 basic salary

You'll work on a varied range of premium, prestige and performance vehicles
, using modern diagnostic equipment and working alongside an experienced team.
And when the working day is done, it's done.
Monday to Friday. 8:30am-5:30pm. No weekends.
The RoleAs a Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out a varied mix of servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on premium and prestige vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Using modern diagnostic equipment
- Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Identifying faults and carrying out appropriate repairs
- Completing work to a consistently high standard
- Ensuring vehicles are completed safely and correctly
- Maintaining accurate job records
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe and organised
You'll have the opportunity to work on interesting and varied vehicles
, rather than simply carrying out the same routine work every day.
We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in their work and has strong mechanical and diagnostic ability.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic or similar
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working on modern vehicles
- Good electrical and electronic knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of workmanship
- A professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with
premium, prestige or high-performance vehicles would be advantageous, but is not essential.
MOT testing qualifications and manufacturer training are desirable, but not essential.
