Sales Ledger Clerk Sittingbourne, Kent £15.00 per hour 25 Hours per Week | Flexible Working Hours 3-Month Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Our client is a business based in Sittingbourne, specialising in the distribution of agricultural produce. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and organised Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a 3-month temporary to permanent basis .

The Role Working 25 hours per week across 5 days, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day sales ledger function, ensuring customer accounts are maintained accurately and efficiently. Key Duties Raising and processing sales invoices Allocating customer payments Maintaining accurate customer account records Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies Chasing outstanding payments where required Processing credit notes Entering, coding, matching sterling & Euro invoices/ credits onto Rubicon Handling customer account queries via phone and email Assisting with month-end sales ledger procedures Maintaining accurate records and filing systems Supporting the wider finance team with general administration duties

The Person The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience within a sales ledger, accounts administration or finance support role Good attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational skills A confident and professional telephone manner Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel The ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer? £14.00 per hour 25 hours per week across 5 days Flexible start and finish times to suit your schedule Friendly and supportive business On-site parking Opportunity to secure a permanent position following the temporary period Interviews will be taking place on Monday, so immediate availability is highly desirable.
