Groundworker – Deep Drainage

GROUNDWORKER Deep Drainage

We are seeking experienced Ground workers with strong deep drainage expertise for a busy housing project in Dover.

This role is ideally suited to operatives who are confident working on deep drainage systems complex installations and below-ground infrastructure.

Key Duties

• Installation ofwater drainage systems including deep drainage runs
• Gullies laterals and manholes installation to specification
• Working in deep trenches ensuring correct benching shoring and safe working practices
• Laying and aligning pipes to correct levels and falls
• Installation of ducting and service crossings
• Confident working around live services using safe digging and avoidance techniques
• Supporting road formation and external works associated with drainage
• Operating dumpers (valid tickets required) to support drainage activities
• Working safely alongside plant and other site operations
• Maintaining a safe clean and organised working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in deep drainage and groundworks (essential)
• Strong understanding oflevels drainage runs and site drawings
• CSCS Card
• Confinded spaces ticket
• Dumper ticket (preferred)
• Previous experience onhousing or large-scale construction sites
• Good awareness ofhealth & safety particularly working at depth
• Reliable hardworking and proactive attitude

Desirable

• Experience with manhole building and chamber installs
• Additional CPCS/NPORS plant tickets
• CAT & Genny training
