We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic and supportive team at a forward-thinking school in Medway. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with students to support their emotional and behavioural development.
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups to implement tailored behaviour strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to ensure consistent support.
  • Monitor and track student progress, contributing to individual behaviour plans.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, or care setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management, youth work, or similar (desirable but not essential).
