Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people? Do you thrive in a role where every day brings a new opportunity to make a difference? Join our dedicated team at a specialist independent school supporting students aged 11 to 19 who face barriers to mainstream education.

About Us

We provide a safe, stimulating, and personalised learning environment for students referred by Local Authorities-many with EHCPs or at risk of exclusion. Our approach is rooted in understanding each student's emotional, social, and academic needs, helping them re-engage with learning and build brighter futures.

Role Overview

As an Outreach Tutor, you'll deliver 1:1 sessions in students' homes, focusing on functional skills in maths and English. You'll work with learners who may have autism or other learning difficulties, helping them build confidence and progress toward qualifications or reintegration into mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored tutoring in low ability maths and literacy.
  • Support students with diverse needs, including autism and SEMH.
  • Build trusting relationships to motivate and engage learners.
  • Collaborate with fellow Outreach Tutors to share resources and reduce planning time.

  • Enjoy a supportive working environment with small caseloads.
  • Help shape the future of young people who need it most.
