Hill McGlynn Recruitment is working with a well‑established, growing M&E contractor to recruit a Junior Mechanical Estimator based in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated individual to develop a career in mechanical estimating, supporting the delivery of high‑quality HVAC and plumbing projects across a range of sectors.

• Assist with the preparation of mechanical estimates for HVAC and plumbing packages
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Support with take‑offs, cost planning, and supplier enquiries
• Assist senior estimators with pricing and tender submissions
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
• Support commercial and project teams during project handover
• Maintain accurate records and estimating documentation

• Previous experience within mechanical estimating or an M&E background
• Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work within a team and manage deadlines effectively
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

• £45,000 salary
