We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading housing providers for an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of properties across the Kent & Essex region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference to residents and local communities.Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a designated patch of residential properties.
  • Delivering a high-quality housing management service.
  • Carrying out tenancy management and tenancy sustainment.
  • Conducting estate inspections and property visits.
  • Investigating and managing anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
  • Supporting residents with safeguarding concerns and welfare issues.
  • Building positive relationships with residents and local stakeholders.
  • Working closely with internal departments and external agencies to resolve tenancy-related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Tenancy Officer.
  • Strong knowledge of housing management and tenancy legislation.
  • Experience managing ASB cases, safeguarding concerns and estate management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular travel across the housing patch.
