Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager

About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supply chain operations within an established manufacturing environment. This is a high‑impact role for someone who wants to move beyond day‑to‑day purchasing and truly influence strategy, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

• Develop and deliver the procurement & supply chain strategy
• Manage and strengthen supplier relationships and performance
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract agreements
• Forecast demand and monitor market trends
• Analyse spend, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
• Work cross‑functionally to align supply with operational requirements
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
• Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and safety standards

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management (manufacturing / FMCG preferred)
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capability
• Commercial mindset with a focus on cost and value
• Data‑driven and comfortable working with analytics and forecasting
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Proactive, hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced environment

• Salary: £45,000 - £50,000.00 depending on experience
