Caretaker Required – Grammar School (Sittingbourne)

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a well-established grammar school in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual looking for an immediate start within a supportive school environment.

Role Details:

  Sittingbourne
• Hours:
  
  7.5 hours per day (typically between 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility)
• 30-minute break included
• Start: ASAP
• Duration:
  Ongoing until the end of the current term, with potential to continue into the new academic year

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and site duties
• Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure and well-maintained
• Supporting the setup of rooms and facilities for school activities
• Undertaking basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Working closely under the direction of the Site Manager

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous caretaking, site maintenance or facilities experience (preferred)
• Be reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
