Mechanical Fitter (Marine / Plant / Agricultural)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £50,000+) plus company benefits, progression, overtime, in‑house training and bonuses.

Sittingbourne.

Do you have experience working on transmissions within the marine, heavy plant or agricultural sectors? This role offers specialist training, clear progression and overtime opportunities.

This international engineering business specialises in the repair, overhaul and servicing of propulsion, transmission and drivetrain systems for commercial marine and industrial applications. Supporting customers across the shipping, offshore, defence and heavy engineering sectors, the company is known for technical excellence, high‑quality workmanship and long‑term staff development.

• Repair, overhaul and maintain transmission and driveline systems.
• Strip, inspect and rebuild gearboxes, torque converters, axles and mechanical components.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.
• Work on customer repairs, refurbishments and new‑build projects.
• Support assembly, fitting and testing within the workshop.
• Work Monday to Friday, workshop‑based with occasional travel when required.

• Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar.
• Experience working on transmissions, gearboxes, driveline or propulsion systems.
• Commutable to Sittingbourne.
