CNC Machinist - Joinery

Sittingbourne

£33,000 plus Overtime

Permanent, Full Time

This is a fabulous opportunity to join a great team of tradespeople manufacturing and delivering custom built exhibition stands to venues throughout the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for taking the drawings of required components, plotting them via our production software, and cutting them via our CNC machine and machine shop, then labelling for fabrication by others. You will also be responsible for H&S, maintenance and cleanliness within the machine shop, and inventory of materials to ensure we always have stock of what we need.

There may be opportunities to assist with some stand build, including onsite occasionally for the right candidate. This is a role that is almost 100% workshop based, and thus it is preferred that candidates are or are prepared to be forklift trained, and first aid trained. Our core workshop hours are 8hrs a day, commencing at 7am and finishing at 4pm, but paid overtime is often available at various times throughout the year, and it is important to the business that this is worked as much as possible by production staff at the times it is needed.
