Job Overview
Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Fitter
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: Up to £40K DOE + overtime paid at time and half
Working hours: 39 hour basic working week
Leave: 31 days including bank holiday
Position type: Permanent, paid monthly with overtime
Responsibilities- Assist with the building and commissioning of factory machinery
- Assist with the refurbishment and maintenance work within the factory
- Assemble, install, and fit mechanical components
- Read engineering drawings
- Possess a high standard of work
- Good general hands‑on mechanical skills – drilling, cutting, and component assembly
- Understanding of basic control systems – pneumatic and hydraulic
