Overview

Up to £40K DOE + overtime paid at time and half. Job Type: Permanent. Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter for a permanent role (paid monthly + OT). The client will also consider candidates looking for temporary or permanent-to-permanent roles.

The role is primarily focused on static assembly within the factory, with potential future opportunities to be involved in installation and maintenance work.

Salary:
Up to £40K DOE + overtime paid at time and half. 39 hour basic working week. 31 days leave inc Bank Holiday.

Pension and Sick Scheme

The Mechanical Assembly Fitter / Engineer role is to assist with the manufacture of the machinery. The role will ideally suit candidates with experience of machine building. Primary duties include:

• To assist with the building and commissioning of factory machinery
• To assemble, install and fit mechanical components

• Possess high standard of work
• Good general hands-on mechanical skills – drilling, cutting and component assembly
• Understanding of basic control systems – pneumatic and hydraulic
