Job Title
CNC Miller (Setter/Operator + ideally Programmer)
LocationSittingbourne
SalaryFrom £18.00 per hour, depending on skill level
Hours7.30am to 4pm (Friday 3pm finish)
39 hour week
Employment DetailsPermanent role, paid monthly + OT when required. OT paid at time and a half.
OverviewMaking parts for machine building/production. The role is available due to pending retirement so full training will be given.
ResponsibilitiesSetting, operating, and programming CNC machine centres – 3 axis (Haas). Programming Haas CNC machinery, CAD/CAM – desirable. Capable of setting and operating CNC machine centres; offline programming experience would be an advantage. Able to work in a variety of materials – aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, etc.
Qualifications- Experience with Heidenhain Control preferred.
- Experience working on 3 axis Haas machines.
- CAD/CAM programming experience.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of cutting tools.
- Offline programming experience advantageous.
- Desirable:
Programming Haas CNC machinery, CAD/CAM.
