Laboratory Technician – Microbiology

Location:

ALS Sittingbourne

Days Per Week: 4 on 4 off (9am to 9pm)

Contract:

Full Time and Permanent

Annual Salary: £26,867 + £2000 Location Allowance

• Perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
• Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency
• Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
• Ensure workstation is always clean and tidy
• Conform with all site Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures and protocols
• Keep accurate records

• Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent time‑management skills
• Methodical approach to work
