What you’ll be doing :

* Operating HGV vehicles to move trailers safely around the yard and on local deliveries

* Conducting thorough vehicle and trailer checks to ensure all are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards

* Strapping down goods securely to prevent movement during transit

* Maintaining accurate records of vehicle condition and any incidents

* Assisting with additional duties as required to support yard and transport operations

* Communicating effectively with yard supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth logistics flow

Shift times: 02:00 - 10:00

What we’re looking for:

* Valid HGV licence with relevant endorsements to operate shunter vehicles

* Proven experience in a similar HGV shunter or yard driver role

* Strong focus on health and safety standards and vehicle maintenance

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
