GI Group are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for our internationally known client in Sittingbourne (ME10). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road‑based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. They operate in numerous countries and are known for their technology, customer service, and commitment to sustainability.
Work Schedule and Pay• Monday to Friday
• £18.33 per hour*
• £24.54 per hour after 40 hrs
* Pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay
Key Responsibilities- Conduct vehicle pre‑checks
- Make a maximum of 10 deliveries/collections per day
- Scan and load own vehicle
- Prioritise workload to ensure time commitments are met
- Presentable appearance, eye for detail, positive attitude.
- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes.
- 12 months + Class 1 licence.
- Valid and in‑date tachograph and CPC qualifications.
