Job Title: Night Warehouse Operative

Location: Greencore Food-to-Go Distribution Warehouse

Hours:

• Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (Nights)
• Monday night potentially available as overtime
• 20:00 - 04:30 (30-minute unpaid break)

Pay Rates:

• £12.95 per hour (20:00 - 22:00)
• £14.10 per hour (22:00 - 04:30)
• £17.63 per hour after 42 hours

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Night Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced food-to-go distribution team. This role is physically demanding and takes place in a chilled environment (2-3°C), supporting nightly deliveries by unloading stock, organizing products, and preparing routes for dispatch.

• Unload up to 3 delivery trucks per night (arriving at approximately 20:00, 23:00, and 01:00)
• Use manual pump trucks to move pallets into the fridge (each truck contains approx. 14-18 pallets)
• Work in a chilled warehouse environment (2-3°C)
• Break down pallets and accurately allocate stock to designated route bays
• Ensure all stock is placed correctly and ready for drivers to load (no van loading required)
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Spend the final hour of the shift cleaning, removing waste, and organizing the warehouse for day staff
• Follow all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet nightly deadlines

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Comfortable working in a cold (2-3°C) environment
• Physically fit and able to move heavy pallets
• Able to work in a fast-paced role
• Good attention to detail and organization
• Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
