Job Title: Medical Product Assembly & Dispatches Clerk

Location: Skegness. PE25 3SJ

Hours: Full time. Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. One hour paid break.

Contract: Permanent

Job

Purpose

In this role, you will receive cross-training across various aspects of the production process, including assembly of self-testing kits, order picking, packing and dispatch operations. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills within a supportive environment, with full training provided.

While previous experience in a similar role is not required, experience in environments with administrative processes and high-quality standards, including quality and compliance aspects, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, accuracy, and attention to detail, with a natural eagerness to contribute to our high-quality standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and take pride in ensuring that every aspect of your work meets the highest standards.

Additionally, you will possess:

  • Strong numeracy skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
  • A team player attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • The ability to organise and manage your workload, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collating daily orders of testing kits and selecting appropriate components for distribution.
  • Preparing packaging materials according to product specifications.
  • Generating print order confirmations for all kits.
  • Gathering and assembling necessary components for each order.
  • Ensuring completed kits comply with the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Allocating kits to patients and accurately registering orders into our database.
  • Sealing and labelling packages with correct address labels.
  • Weighing packages and using postal machines for franking.
  • Dispatching orders to customers through courier services, ensuring timely delivery.
Skills and Experience Essential
  • Previous job experience in a range of backgrounds able to demonstrate your transferable skills.
