Company Overview:
The Supply Register are a managed service provider working alongside schools across Lincolnshire, including a welcoming infant school in Skegness.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partnership schools starting ASAP. You will be supporting early years and KS1 pupils and helping create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Position Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will take on a blend of key adult responsibilities and general classroom support. You will work closely with class teachers to help pupils thrive both academically and socially, ensuring they feel supported, confident, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent key‑adult support to identified pupils, helping them access learning and daily routines.
Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
Assist with small group work and one‑to‑one interventions when required.
Help maintain a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage the development of pupils’ independence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and wider school staff to monitor progress and adapt support.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience working with children in a UK primary setting is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to undergo training and ongoing professional development.
