Are you a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping young minds thrive? If so, we have a very exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a tutor in Skelmersdale. You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in a pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Position Details:

· Role: 1:1 Secondary Tutor

· Subjects:
Maths, English, Science

Location:

In the community or pupils home (Lancaster)

Start Date:

ASAP

· Rate of Pay: GBP
25 per hour (minimum)

Hours:

Flexible - between 8am and 4pm (some after-school work available)

· Contract Type:
Ongoing, part-time contract

Requirements:

· Right to work in the UK

· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

· Overseas Police Check (if applicable)

· Minimum 2 years professional references

· QTS or relevant tutoring experience

· Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred)

· A patient, empathetic, and adaptable tutor

· Confident delivering 1:1 learning sessions

· Ability to create and deliver personalised learning plans

· Comfortable supporting students with emotional or behavioural needs

· Willing to provide weekly progress reports
