Summary:
Trinity Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to lead our Seedlings room for pupils aged 0‑2 years, providing a nurturing environment that supports early development.
- Lead the Seedlings room and support the team in delivering a high‑quality early‑years curriculum.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans for young children.
- Provide wrap‑around support, including breakfast club cover (7:45‑8:45 am) and after‑school care (3:15‑5:45 pm).
- Support the Christian ethos of the school and encourage inclusive learning.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support children with a range of needs.
- Take on leadership responsibilities and develop team management skills.
- L3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- GCSE grade C or level 2 equivalent in English and Maths.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Early years qualifications.
- SEND qualifications.
- Experience working with young children.
- Experience supporting children with SEND.
- Experience with positive behaviour management strategies.
- Experience leading a team and managing others.
