Early Career Teacher

We are looking for enthusiastic early career teachers ready to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence and explore opportunities across local schools.

Skelmersdale/Ormskirk area

Hours:

Monday – Friday (08.30am – 16.00pm) Pay:
Starting from £117.67 Role & Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver individualized learning programmes for students with cognitive and learning difficulties.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to engage and support diverse learning needs.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to implement effective Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Monitor student progress, set achievable targets, and provide detailed feedback to parents and carers.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
  • Adapt teaching materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all students.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to support staff working within the SEND department.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • In depth knowledge of the curriculum
  • Teaching experience across all key stages
  • Flexibility, adaptability and confidence
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
  • Provide a full work history and references to cover a minimum of 5 years
