Job Role of the Automation Support Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Support Engineer to join a modern, high-tech FMCG manufacturing site in Skelmersdale. You will be responsible for carrying out automation improvements and projects on the production lines and machinery, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Working on a Monday
- Friday days based role, you will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting production performance across the site.

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Experience with in an automation support role.
• Experience with in manufacturing environment

• Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Automation experience within similar environment
• PLC fault‑finding experience.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
