White Label Recruitment are working with a successful distribution business that is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator to support its busy supply chain function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within supply chain, purchasing or logistics. You'll join a supportive team where you'll gain exposure to supplier management, purchase orders, stock control, inbound logistics and international supply while receiving excellent training and development.
This role would suit a Supply Chain Administrator, Purchasing Administrator, Procurement Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Supply Chain Assistant or a recent graduate looking to begin a career within supply chain.
The Role- Raise and maintain purchase orders.
- Update supplier confirmations and delivery dates.
- Chase suppliers for order progress and shipment updates.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate supplier and stock records.
- Support stock availability and inventory administration.
- Track inbound deliveries and international shipments.
- Liaise with UK, European and Far East suppliers.
- Assist with freight and delivery documentation.
- Respond to internal supply chain queries.
- Produce reports and maintain spreadsheets.
- Support continuous improvement across the department.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams.
- Good Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities.
- Interested in supply chain, purchasing or logistics.
- Experience with in purchasing, supply chain or stock administration would be advantageous.
- Experience using ERP or MRP systems is desirable but not essential.
