Shift Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Shift Manager (4 on 4 off) to oversee production activities at a flagship manufacturing facility in Merseyside. This role is key to ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality ingredient products.

The Role

The successful Shift Manager will:

* Lead manufacturing operations across your shift, ensuring delivery of KPIs and continuous improvement.

* Empower and coach your team to solve problems and drive performance.

* Own and deliver Operational Excellence (OE) projects aligned to business goals.

* Make real-time decisions using PDCA and “go, look, see” techniques.

* Manage team development, performance reviews, and employee relations.

* Ensure compliance with health & safety and product integrity standards.

The Candidate

The successful Shift Manager will have:

* Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership.

* Strong coaching, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.

* Ability to lead with autonomy and minimal escalation.

* Passion for developing people and driving change.
