People Solutions are recruiting for a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator to join our well-established client in Skelmersdale on a permanent basis. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate, sociable working hours, and a friendly, progressive manufacturing environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, Sheet Metal Fabricator
, or Skilled Fabricator
.

• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• Flexible working hours between 08:00 - 16:30

£19.10 per hour

As a MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator
, your duties will include:

• Operating MIG and TIG welding equipment to a high standard
• Switching between welding processes depending on material thickness and joint specifications
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical blueprints
• Marking out, cutting, and assembling fabricated components
• Fettling, grinding, and polishing welded parts to achieve the required finish
• Inspecting completed welds and checking dimensional accuracy using measuring equipment including calipers, squares, and tape measures
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and health and safety

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Relevant MIG and TIG welding qualifications
• Previous experience in both MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Proven metal fabrication experience
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience working with a variety of metals and fabrication techniques
