HGV Class 1 Driver Store Deliveries (Manual Role) Skelmersdale | Full-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunity Ultimate Recruitment is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our professional team based in Skelmersdale . This is a store delivery role that involves manual handling , so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading cages and goods throughout the day.

If you're looking for a driving-only position, this role will not be suitable. Job Details Monday to Friday Night shifts, starting between 15:00-19:00 Weekend shifts available 4 on / 4 off or 5 on / 3 off shift patterns (including weekends) Store deliveries to retail locations Regular manual loading and unloading required Full-day driving assessment before starting Full-time hours available Temp to Perm opportunity Requirements Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Driving Licence Minimum 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience Previous store delivery experience is essential Physically fit and able to carry out manual loading and unloading throughout the shift Aged 25 or over (insurance requirement) Maximum of 6 penalty points No IN, DR, or DD endorsement codes Pay Rates Days (04:0016:00): £18.50 per hour (£20.72 including holiday pay) Nights (16:0004:00): £19.50 per hour (£21.86 including holiday pay) Saturday: £20.50 per hour (£22.98 including holiday pay) Sunday: £21.50 per hour (£24.10 including holiday pay) Benefits Company pension One free CPC module per year for regular full-time drivers 24-hour GP access Supportive and professional working environment On-site parking (where applicable) Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidates If you're an experienced HGV Class 1 driver who enjoys an active role and is happy with the physical demands of store deliveries and manual handling , we'd love to hear from you.
