HGV Class 2 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Skelmersdale.

Our client operates a busy multidrop delivery operation, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with deliveries unloaded by a mixture of forklift and pump truck.

What's on offer?

Ongoing temporary position
Monday to Friday, starting between 5am and 7am
Shifts averaging 10 hours
Paid weekly at £17.93 - inclusive of holidays

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

Completing 10 to 12 multidrop deliveries per day
Unloading using a mixture of forklift and pump truck
Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

A valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
