D Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
Our client is an independent family business, serving the food service sector since 1977. They provide to pubs and restaurants, contract caterers, and the public sector. They strive to provide a comprehensive range of quality food products to suit all business needs.
This role is a temporary position.
Duties:- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Up to 1 to 5 drops
- Delivering to pubs, restaurants, contract caterers and the public sector
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent tacho knowledge manual entry and driving hours compliance
- Current CPC Licence
- Current Digital Tachograph Licence
- An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
- Days - Monday to Friday (6am starts) - £16.00 to £24.00 per hour
- Nights Monday to Friday - £17.00 to £25.50 per hour
