Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour

Attendance Bonus: Earn up to an additional £200 per month!

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM – 17:00 PM

Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until 31st March (Potential for Permanent)

? We are looking for a reliable Goods In Warehouse Operative (Returns) to join our Skelmersdale team.

Unlike standard picking and packing, this role is all about the “inward flow.” You’ll be the gatekeeper of our returns department, ensuring every item—from designer taps to luxury vanity units is handled with care, inspected with a keen eye, and processed with “porcelain-perfect” precision. • Receiving and unloading inbound return shipments, checking for any “leaks” in quality or transit damage.
• Using our Warehouse Management System to log returns accurately, ensuring our data flows as smoothly as a power shower.
• Conducting thorough inspections to decide if a product is “Grade A” or if its ship has sailed, categorising items for resale or refurbishment.
• Identifying discrepancies or “murky” returns (incorrect items or missing parts) and reporting them to the management team.
• Keeping your workspace organised and hazard-free, ensuring the returns bay never gets “clogged” up.

• Spot a hairline fracture or a missing washer from a mile away—accuracy is vital.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse software.
• Reliable and punctual—our £200 monthly attendance bonus is waiting for those who show up and shine.
• Physical resilience: active and on your feet, capable of manual handling tasks within a warehouse environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English to ensure all technical reporting is crystal clear.

Based in our modern Skelmersdale facility, this role offers a fantastic Monday to Friday schedule—no weekend work required! This is a Fixed Term Contract until the end of March, providing the perfect opportunity to soak up some extra income after the festive period. For those who truly excel, there is a very real possibility of a permanent seat at the table once the contract ends.
