Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting a Maths Teacher for a full-time position based in the Skipton area.

This position is due to start ASAP, and is full-time and ongoing until Easter 2026.

As a Maths Teacher, the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent teacher such as planning and preparing lessons, parents evening and staff meetings.

Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:

• Have previous experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4
• Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
• Support students in achieving their full potential
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Plan and assess students' progress in line with the curriculum
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the learning experience
• Parents evenings if required

Requirements of Maths Teacher:

• Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
