Role Description

This on-site, full-time Weddings and Events Manager role is based in Skipton. The individual in this role will manage and coordinate weddings and events from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for all clients. Responsibilities include leading event planning, maintaining communication with clients and vendors, overseeing budgets, and ensuring all operations align with the venue’s high standards. The manager will also lead a team in setting up and managing events, developing tailored packages, and identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience while promoting the venue’s services.

Qualifications
  • Event Planning and Coordination experience, particularly in weddings or large-scale events
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
  • Team leadership and staff management experience, with the ability to delegate effectively
  • Budget management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in sales and negotiation is a plus
  • A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • A relevant qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous
