Salary
Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements- Proven experience leading release, deployment, or service transition activities within complex technology environments
- Strong understanding of modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD, Dev Ops, and automated release processes
- Experience coordinating releases and managing dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders at scale
- Ability to use data and engineering metrics to improve release performance, reduce risk, and enhance delivery outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering, operations, and business teams
- Define and evolve release and deployment strategies that enable safe, efficient, and frequent delivery across multiple platforms
- Lead cross-team release planning and coordination, ensuring visibility of dependencies, risks, and environment readiness
- Drive the adoption of modern release practices including automation, policy-as-code, and progressive delivery approaches such as canary and blue/green deployments
- Use data and engineering metrics such as lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR to identify bottlenecks and improve delivery performance
- Lead and develop a small team, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership of release outcomes
