At Dechra, we're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our Manufacturing team in Skipton. As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, helping us deliver on our commitment to excellence .

As part of our Manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for supporting daily production activities and ensuring equipment and processes operate smoothly and safely.

• Manufacturing products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and approved procedures.
• Setting up, operating, dismantling and cleaning manufacturing equipment to a high standard.
• Completing production documentation accurately and ensuring paperwork is "Right First Time".
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining full compliance at all times.
• Supporting production schedules to help the team achieve daily and wider operational targets.
• Identifying and resolving issues where possible, escalating concerns when required.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Ensuring equipment is safe, clean and operating effectively, highlighting any maintenance concerns.
• Supporting continuous improvement and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Participating in training programmes and sharing knowledge by helping to train and support colleagues.
• Promoting a culture of safety, quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing area.

• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to accurately complete documentation and follow detailed procedures.

• Experience with in a manufacturing, packaging or production environment.
• Experience of manual or semi-automated manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience working within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience or experience in a similarly regulated sector.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
