We're partnering with a highly respected and ambitious food manufacturer in North Yorkshire to recruit an exceptional Site Technical & Quality Manager .

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the technical strategy of a business renowned for producing healthy, great-tasting products. The Opportunity As the Site Technical & Quality Manager, you'll lead the site's technical and quality functions, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, legality, quality, and compliance are achieved from raw material intake through to finished product dispatch.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll provide technical leadership that supports operational excellence, product innovation, and continuous improvement, while ensuring customer and regulatory expectations are consistently exceeded.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the site's Technical & Quality function. Champion food safety, product quality, and legal compliance across all manufacturing operations. Ensure robust quality systems and procedures are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved. Drive a proactive culture of quality throughout the business. Provide technical expertise to support product and process development, helping optimise quality, consistency, and manufacturing performance. Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing Quality team, ensuring the right capability and resource is in place to support the operation.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contribute to the wider business strategy and support the continued growth of the organisation. About You You'll be a confident technical leader with a proven background in food manufacturing, combining strong people management skills with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. You'll be commercially aware, solutions-focused, and comfortable influencing stakeholders at every level of the business.
