Hardscape Draftsman

• Following specifications and plans to create various shop drawings (i.e. Layout Coordination Drawings, Hardscape Joint Layout Plans, Hardscape Forming Layout Plans, etc.).
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
• Communicating with Project Managers and Estimators.
• Assisting in identifying, designing, and estimating hardscape projects (flatwork/ hardscape/ underground/ structural concrete construction) for existing commercial/ governmental clients as well as new clients.
• Establish a relationship with vendors, architects, engineers, and industry-related firms.

• Associate Degree (or another 2-year degree) / Some College Courses.
• Minimum two (2) years of computer aided design and drafting (CADD). Mark. but a plus.
• Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
• Prospective candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, an interest in the construction process, and be willing to take on different challenges.
• Field experience a plus, but not required.

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

AutoCAD 2D or other 2D Drafting Software

BIM Modeling and/or Revit is a plus
