Textron Systems is seeking engineers of all disciplines to support the United States Marine Corps Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program. We are seeking highly skilled Test Engineers to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an interdisciplinary role, enabling the full life cycle development of our products. This role may include supporting development of new products and product upgrades, payload design, integration and test, and development of fielding solutions for our military and commercial customers. Required experience includes hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, and successfully working within a collaborative team environment.

A desire to take ownership of design efforts to ensure integration of new technology into our vehicles is essential.

• Responsible for design, development, and execution of tests for products (hardware, software, systems) to ensure quality, functionality, and reliability, creating test plans, writing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams for fixes, ultimately ensuring products meet specifications and user needs before launch
• Test Planning & Design:
  Understand requirements, define scope, objectives, and resources, then create detailed test plans, strategies, and procedures
• Test Case Development:
  Write specific test cases and scripts for various tests (functional, performance, security, etc.).
• Test Execution:
  Run tests, monitor the development and production process, and manage controlled testing environments.
• Defect Management:
  Identify, document (using bug trackers), report, and track software/hardware and product defects.
• Collaboration & Feedback:
  Work with developers, process engineers, and management to provide insights, suggest improvements, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Reporting:
  Analyze results, document findings, Preparing and presenting Test engineering work products to internal review teams and external customers at program milestone reviews.
• Interact daily with technical leads, program managers, planners, technicians, and other engineers.
• Driving tasks to completion independently – aided by appropriate supervision and mentoring.
• Collaborating with others within the workgroup, with other departments, and the customer.

• 2 years demonstrated project leadership experience preferred Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design
• Testing and integrating new technology into our family of Ground Vehicle products throughout the lifecycle of the program.
