The Financial Center Associate 1 is responsible for providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while making appropriate referrals. The incumbent handles and balances the cash drawer, performs teller transactions, and supports the financial center’s success through referral goals and regulatory compliance. This is a part‑time position and may be filled at a lower or higher level depending on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications , Competencies, and Skills- GED or High School diploma
- 6 months experience with cash handling or customer service
- Ability to travel across company footprint as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Problem solving, judgemen,t decision‑making, organization and planning
- Ambition, follow‑through, optimism, tenacity
- Communication: listening, speaking, and writing; resilience and balance; collaboration; client focus
- Technical acumen and knowledge management
- Financial institution experience
- Perform all teller transactions
- Balance, locate, and reconcile cash drawer discrepancies, including end‑of‑day procedures and reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Contribute to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned referral goals
- Report to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions
- Provide customer assistance for account services in person and over the phone
- Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports
- Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures

- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
- Physical Requirements:
primarily sitting with some standing, walking, lifting, and bending
