Position: PRN Physical Therapist (As-Needed)

Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed PRN Physical Therapist to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care on an as‑needed basis. This role supports patient rehabilitation through evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, function, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)
  • Current state Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting relevant to the position (e.g., outpatient, inpatient, home health, SNF)
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity required
Work Environment
