Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Treat adult patients with oncology diagnoses

• Average daily census of 45-50 patients

• Work in 2-room radiation therapy unit

• Perform special procedures including IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, and SRS/SBRT

• Operate Varian True Beam equipment (x2 units)

• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, and Louisiana State License

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• 40 hours of orientation provided

• Two pre-approved time off periods available

• Unit accepts first-time travelers

• Emergency team assignment possible during facility emergencies with expectation to remain until event passes

• Skills required include adult acute and outpatient care, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, custom molds and shields, external beam therapy, respiratory gating, stereotactic radiosurgery, Varis-Vision/ARIA systems, chart checking, billing for treatment types, and radiation safety
