Pontchartrain Animal Hospital as a Registered Veterinary Technician!
We're seeking a skilled RVT ready to leverage their surgical and anesthesia expertise while supporting outpatient care and client engagement .
Our 4-doctor , full-service small animal practice offers a supportive team environment, celebrates milestones, and fosters a positive, collaborative workplace. Enjoy a variety of cases across western and integrative medicine, with advanced medical facilities including digital and dental radiography, CO2 laser therapy, IDEXX in-house lab support, and ultrasound.

Schedule: Full-time, 5/8 schedule, Monday-Friday with rotating half-day Saturdays.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $$20+/hour , for each hour worked*

Required qualifications and skillset:

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current RVT license in the state of Louisiana
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Anesthesia induction and maintenance
  • Surgical preparation and assistance
  • Exam room and outpatient assistance
  • Dental prophylaxis and radiology
  • Gentle patient restraint
  • Phlebotomy and IVC placement
  • Microscopic evaluation
