Truck Driver​/CDL-A​/Flatbed​/Weekends

Overview

CDL A Truck Driver with flatbed experience. Majority of freight runs East of I-35. Local orientation in Birmingham, AL. Weekly pay and accessorial pay available.

• Haul aluminum coils, pipe, steel, and building materials
• Open deck / flatbed operations with tarp requirements on 40%–50% of loads
• Operate with non-forced, flexible dispatch; no-touch freight where applicable
• Follow safety and DOT regulations; maintain clean driving and on-time delivery records

• 1 year OTR required (3 states) with at least 6 months flatbed experience within the past 5 years
• Local experience will not count
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than 6 jobs in the past 3 years; driver must not have 6+ jobs in the past year to qualify for the $5,000 sign-on bonus
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the past 3 years
• No DOT preventable accidents in the past year
• No DUIs/DWIs in the past 3 years
• Urine drug screen required; no failed drug tests or drug test refusals
• Felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed
• Driver must have verifiable steel pipe, steel coil, straps, tarps, chains, binders and/or flat steel experience

• Sign-on bonus: $5,000 for eligible drivers (qualification criteria apply)
• Weekly pay
• Accessorial pay
• Vacation pay

• 3 day orientation in Birmingham, AL
