Asphalt Plant Assistant Operator

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily production of asphalt at our drum plant to produce high-quality asphalt for various PennDOT, township, and private projects. Must be willing to work overtime during the construction season.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality production of asphalt materials.
• Load trucks to various job sites each day.
• Keep track of materials needed for asphalt production and stock as necessary.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during plant operation.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine inspections to ensure the plant is in optimal condition.

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform general maintenance on the asphalt plant to ensure proper functionality.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly for timely repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in asphalt or construction.
