Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established Chartered Accountancy firm in Slough to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional looking to join a supportive, client–focused practice that offers genuine career development and exposure to a varied portfolio of clients.

Working closely with managers and partners, you will play a key role in delivering high–quality accounting, tax and advisory services while building strong relationships with clients across a range of industries.

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted point of contact.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Liaising with HMRC and responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience will also be considered).
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
