Credit Controller

Senior Credit Controller (Interim) Datchet | 3 months initially | ASAP Start | £17-£20 per hour  holiday pay (DOE) We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role that requires someone with a strong accounting background who is confident managing both end-to-end credit control and complex account reconciliations.

Reconciliations are a must for this position, so applicants must have proven experience resolving ledger discrepancies, investigating payment and invoice queries, cash allocation and ensuring customer accounts are fully reconciled.

Key responsibilities:

End-to-end credit control across a high-volume sales ledger Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and written correspondence Performing complex customer account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries with internal stakeholders Allocating cash and maintaining accurate customer accounts Producing aged debt and debtor reports for management Escalating overdue accounts and preparing cases where required Supporting continuous improvements across credit control processes Reconciliations

About you:

Proven experience as a Senior Credit Controller or experienced Credit Controller Strong accounting background with excellent reconciliation skills (essential) Confident handling high-volume sales ledger and complex account queries Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and data analysis Experience using Sage Intacct (highly desirable) Able to start immediately and commit to a 3-month interim assignment Key Points: 3 months Interim initially 5 days per week in the office Based in Datchet On-site parking £17 - £20 per hour  Holiday Pay (Depending on Experience) Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
