Our client is an established and highly regarded professional practice with a strong team culture. They take their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously, and they're now looking for a Management Accountant to join a collaborative team of accountants and software specialists. You'll manage your own portfolio of UK and international clients, supported by comprehensive training and a clear path for progression.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Preparing management accounts for a varied portfolio of UK and international clients
- Taking ownership of your own client relationships and managing day-to-day account responsibilities
- Preparing VAT returns accurately and to deadline
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Working across a range of accounting platforms and software systems
- Supporting clients with accounting software queries and, where relevant, system integrations or migrations
- A solid, working understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience in preparing VAT returns
- Practical experience using one or more of the following:
Xero, Quick Books, Net Suite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP - Experience in completing balance sheet reconciliations
- The ability to manage multiple clients or work streams simultaneously
- Experience with software integrations and migrations
- Ability to provide software advice to clients
- Exposure to e-commerce businesses or online marketplace environments
