Duties of the Business Development Manager include:
  • Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships within the fleet management, logistics, and mobile mechanic sectors.
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting, cold outreach, to onboarding and account nurturing.
  • Conducting regular client visits across south of the U.K.
  • Developing tailored maintenance and repair solutions that address client needs.
  • Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as fleet and operations managers.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and fleet regulation changes to inform strategic planning.
  • Acting as the face of the company in the field to promote mobile mechanic services as a superior alternative to traditional garage solutions.
Requirements for the Business Development Manager role:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the automotive, fleet management or logistics sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contracts with large fleet clients.
  • Results-driven attitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential for client visits.
  • Experience working with fleet solutions, vehicle maintenance, or related mobile services is highly desirable.
