About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced "Children’s Registered Manager" to lead and manage a 3-bed home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulations, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 per annum (DOE)
Bonus: £3,000 Signing Bonus + Competitive Benefits Package
Home Type: 3-Bed Children’s Residential Home (EBD/LD)
- Lead the operational management of the children’s home in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
- Promote a positive, safe, and supportive culture for both staff and young people.
- Ensure all care planning and safeguarding procedures are adhered to and regularly reviewed.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home maintains a minimum ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Assistant Manager within a large or multi-home service.
- Strong background in supporting children and young people with EBD and/or LD.
- Excellent knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and SCCIF frameworks.
- Experience managing budgets and allocating resources.
- Demonstrated resilience and ability to manage emotionally challenging situations.
- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Copy of passport.
- If not a British citizen, valid Share Code and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
